Centre for Local Health Traditions(CLHT)
From 1998 to 2009, this centre has promoted ‘green health’ in rural communities by facilitating the establishment of over 200,000 home herbal gardens and dozens of community herbal gardens.

Centre for Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology (CPPP)
The objectives of this Centre are to trans-disciplinary research on demonstrating thecontemporary relevance of Traditional Pharmacognosy.
Centre for Theoretical Foundations of Ayurveda (CTF)
The two main research activities of this centre are (i) analysis, translations and critical editions of unpublished medical manuscripts, and (ii) epistemology of Ayurveda.

Centre for Education Innovation (CEI)
This school has the mandate to design and develop innovative educational programs ranging from formal UG, PG and Doctoral programs to E-learning courses for a variety of learners interested in Indian medical heritage.
Centre for Conservation of Natural Resources (CCNR)
The centre has pioneered rapid threat assessment studies for medicinal plants and experimented with strategies for sustainable wild harvesting of plants with involvement of local communities.

Centre for ISM Informatics (CII)
The use of Information Technology for processing the vast and rich Materia Medica of traditional systems of medicine was pioneered by IAIM-FRLHT in 1995.

Repository for Medicinal Resources (RMR)
IAIM-FRLHT pioneered in 1995, the establishment of the first internationally accredited herbarium (botanical repository) of the medicinal plants of India.

This centre has already established thousands of home herbal gardens and dozens of community and institutional gardens.
