School of Health Sciences
This is essentially a school of health sciences. Its principal focus and pivot is the Ayurveda Shastra. However the school will be dedicated to resurrecting the weakened creative spirit of Ayurveda and hence it will engage in exploring the scope of integrative medicine. By integrative medicine we mean the interface between Ayurveda and other health sciences viz; biomedical sciences, Yoga, Sidha, Unani and including the highly diverse, ecosystem and ethnic community specific, health practices, in different parts of India. This centre was established in 2004 as a 20 bed hospital and in 2010 has grown into a 100 bed hospital for Ayurveda and Yoga treatment which focuses on 10 specialty areas viz;
